Missions has always been an important focus for Park Church. Our recent outreaches include missions projects inEcuador the United States, Haiti, Mexico and Ecuador. Park Church has helped with flood relief in North Dakota, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Maryland and New York. We also have done many projects right in our own area, including putting a new roof on the 4NINE Thrift Store and multiple projects for the Erie United Methodist Alliance. Park Church has a long standing practice of sending work teams to Wesley Woods, our local Methodist Church Camp.  To help with our local projects, the church has purchased a trailer and equipped it with tools.

Internationally, we have sent teams to Haiti to work with the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, a medical mission trying to meet the many needs of the Haitian people. Park Church has also sent teams to Mexico working with International Medical Assistance, another medical ministry working to help heal the people of Mexico. No More Malaria and Safe Water for Life are two current mission projects helping to provide mosquito nets and clean water to the people in Africa. Working with Stop Hunger Now, 30,000 meals were packaged and sent overseas to those in need.

Our newest mission project is providing and building wheelchair ramps through Ramps of Hope, to those who are in need in the Erie and North East areas. Park United Methodist Church will continue to serve others, listening to the opportunities God places in front of us, both nearby and many miles away.
