Food

In addition to its involvement in many North East community events, the Methodists are also known for their many meals open to all.

Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast - Started in 1974 as a men's project, this popular Memorial Day event usually serves 300-400 people with all meal donations going towards our Mission program.

Soup and Salad Luncheon - Started in 1980, this popular community event is held on the last Friday in the months of January, February, March, April, September, and October.  Our vegetable beef soup is enjoyed by 225-250 people and is a successful fundraiser for the United Methodist Women. Delicious potato soup is served as a second option during Lent.

Funeral Lunches - United Methodist Women offers this convenient and friendly meal on the day of the funeral since 1994. A committee organizes the food donations and dining room set-up for 50-70 guests.

Troop 57 Spaghetti Dinner - Every February the North East Community looks forward to this meal served in our Fellowship Hall. Many a young man has started his scouting adventure serving drinks and cleaning tables at this event. Park Methodist is a proud sponsor of BSA Troop 57.

Food Pantry - Members from Park United Methodist Church, along with volunteers from 14 other area churches, help to staff the North East Food Pantry.

Thanksgiving Dinner - Turkey, with all the trimmings, is served every Thanksgiving day at Park Church for those wishing to have their meal in our fellowship hall, to take out, or have it delived to their home.

Community Dinner - Three or four times a year, a free community dinner is served to those wishing to enjoy a free dinner.
