Luke 2:52 says “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with people.”

It is our desire to equip kids from kindergarten through fifth grade with three basic truths based on this verse. In fact, when a child transitions into middle school, we want that child to have experienced and own these three basic truths modeled by Jesus im Luke 2:52.

I need to make the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

So that's the foundation, but we'll do more than just teach three basic ideas.  We'll also take kids into the heart of God's big Story.  The story of God reveals the character of God. Our program is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world around them. And to make it easy to understand, everything is unpacked through weekly Bottom Lines -short phrase that are so easy to remember they can be reinforced at home throughout the week.

On the whole, "252 Basics" invited kids into the Story of God, to show them the character of God, all while helping them internalize the 3 Basic Truths.

Our program wouldn't be complete without parent pieces to synchronize the home with what's going on at church. We call them Parent CUES because they're designed to "cue" you, the parents to use everyday moments with your child to Connect to God's story, to Uncover something aobut life, and  to Experience something together.
